Hi there. The last time we talked about what we were missing in our lives, we decided that the missing piece might just be us.
If you are the missing piece in your own life, you will have a desire to do more than you are doing but find yourself way too busy to do it.
If you have the time, you might not be sure what to do or how to go about getting it started.
We as women are designed by God to be nurturers. We naturally want to take care of people, to fix things like relationships, hurts and needs. Mom’ s kiss on a boo-boo makes everything better! The reality is that we can’t fix everything with a band-aid but we can surely try to do our part.
WIGS (Women In God’s Service) has tools that can help you find what is missing. God gave you at least one gift that you have the opportunity to use for Him. Gifts like singing, teaching, meeting people, working with children or seniors.
Maybe a gift of encouragement or being a solid prayer warrior. You may have gifts that you aren’t even aware of yet. Can you crochet, or knit, can you send card or emails, can you pick up groceries or medications at the store?
All of these are examples of using your gifts and talents and you can do it all for the Lord at the same time.
One of the ways that you can determine your gift is to ask yourself “what do I enjoy doing”? or “what do I have a passion for doing”?
That is a starting place in the search for your special gift/gifts. Next step is to find other women who are your friends, family members, coworkers, church member sisters or neighbors that like to do the same kinds of things that you do. Now you have a group!
Stay with us to see what to do with your group nest.
WIGS is here for YOU. We want to help YOU. YOU can do this!
