When our prayer life is good with God, we have a peace that passes all understanding. That’s not to say that everything is wonderful, but there is a sweet peace that comes over us that only can come from God regardless of our circumstances.
This world is full of problems, our nation, our communities, our families, our weather, our health, and anything else that you can add to the list. If we sat and just pondered our problems, we would be in such a depressed state of mind that we couldn’t enjoy our lives.
Jesus told us in John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world
And He has. We can cast all our problems and worries on Him because He cares so much for us. How can we do that? We can through our prayers. He tells us to do that in I Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
If you desire to live in peace in this world, then give all your worries and problems to the Lord in your prayers and LEAVE them with Him. He is powerful enough to handle them. ALL of them. You will be free from the weight of those things that Satan uses to keep you downtrodden and without hope.
Even in the gravest situations that we might face, we are “covered by God’s Love. Psalms 139:7-10 tells us that we cannot go far enough away to leave His presence. God is omni present which is a big word that means everywhere. No matter what we go though He is with us and that, ladies gives us the peace that we so desperately need today. Find that peace through prayer with Him. He desires to hear from us and to comfort us.
Claim the victory in Jesus Christ today because He just told you that He has overcome the world. There isn’t anything that He cannot take care of. Give it to Him and live a life of peace; the peace that passes all understanding.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
