Ephesians 5:16 tells us to redeem our time. To make it count….all of it.
Not enough time is one of the biggest reasons to not step out and work in a ministry. I am too busy to (fill in the blank).
We all have the same twenty-four hours in each day. Our time is spent on our priorities. It’s not that we don’t have enough time, it’s the fact that our priorities rule us instead of us ruling our priorities.
Think of your goal, what it is that you really have a passion to do? Look at your average day and see where you can rearrange some time to accomplish it. You will be surprised at how God works your time schedule when you are making the sincere effort to serve Him. You will have time to make a difference in someone’s day, life, and possibly their eternity!
Know your enemy! List the obstacles that stand in between you and your goal and ask God to help remove them. It is truly amazing how He works to help you once you make the commitment to accomplish His work.
WIGS will be right beside you helping you all the way. We have time management hints, service ideas, encouraging partners and tools to help you minister successfully. We want all your time spent on service to others and you can do that by using the wheel that is already successfully turning.
You will feel so good about yourself, your success, your blessings and your peace of mind once you take that step of faith and begin doing what God planned for you when He created you.
If you have children, you can create ways to let them help you and begin teaching them to serve while they are young. They love to do things to help others and you will be leaving them with a legacy to serve others. What greater gift can you give them than to love to serve God by serving others. The rewards are so many to count when you consider the benefit to another and their family, the benefit to you and your family, and the service to God. It becomes a win-win-win-win situation. Everyone is blessed because you found time in your busy schedule to help someone else that has a need.
