Make Things Happen

What a wonderful idea!  But how do we make things happen, especially when we already have so many things happening.

Good news!  Making things happen doesn't have to be hard or time consuming.

It's a good time to realize that we are seeking to serve God.  Our goal doesn't mean we have to be busy.

First we need to make sure that we are spending some time with Him every day.  Even just 15 quality minutes spent consistently in our Bible and prayer will help us to be connected with Him.

Then we need to ask Him how we should serve.  Who is He putting in our path?

Making things happen could be large, like getting a group together to visit a nursing home, or it could be small, like sending somebody a card of encouragement.

Serving is about obedience, not the size of the service!

I personally love to have a nice cup of tea and to snuggle into my quiet time space (a comfy chair in my room) while I spend some time with my God.  I am typically amazed at how refreshed and grounded I am after even a small amount of time with Him.

So make things happen today!  Starting with your special time with the Lord!
