Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone and into a leadership position? 2019 can be YOUR year to lead. If you are already a leader, what about taking it up to the next level? My favorit cartoon movie of all times in “UP” and one of the best lines is “Adventure is out there”
There are opportunities everywhere for leaders to succeed with small groups. You can lead:
These are only a few suggestions of ways that you can use your leadership skills to minister in the work of the Lord. You don’t have to have a college education, or special classes to make you a leader but you must be called by God. If God calls you to lead, then He will equip you to do whatever is necessary to accomplish His mission.
I am a perfect example of that. God called me to work with women in ministry 30 plus years ago and I am still learning. I have led ladies’ retreats, taught Sunday School, hosted Bible studies and so much more. If you have a heart to serve Him, and He has called you to lead, then pray to see where His will for your life will take you. He will surely show you. You will probably not be the greatest leader to start with, but He will teach you as you go the things that you will need to be successful. Leadership is a process. Jesus took three years to teach His disciples how to become leaders and He will teach you as well. He wants your willingness, your availability, your submission and your obedience and He will take care of the rest.
We will be posting leadership blogs with leadership information and courses for you if you want to take part in them. We will help you every step of the way as you for your groups and determine your ministries.
Leadership is a lot of work, but the rewards are so wonderful that you will ignore the work that got you to that place. You can do it if you choose to do it. Pray and ask God’s leadership as you take the next step closer to Him. Please keep us posted on your journey.
