I am so excited to finish this project and see how God blesses. I will never be able to give God anything compared to the free gift that He gave me. It was free to me but cost Him everything. His only Son gave His life for me. It wasn’t taken from Him but He willingly gave it so I might have eternal life. I am so grateful for that. I count it a privilege to give back just a small token to Him for His marvelous gift to me.
On to the rest of December……my plan for next week is coming together quickly:
December 13th – give a gift to someone that I don’t know
December 14th – Share the Christmas story with someone
December 15th- Help someone decorate that can’t do it alone
December 16th – Take Christmas cards and peppermints to the local nursing home
December 17th – Connect with a longtime friend and catch up on each other
December 18th – Share cookies or candies with a neighbor
God loves His people to want to eat and fellowship together, to spend time sharing with one another. We spend so much of our time hurrying from here to there always in a rush that we don’t fellowship like our ancestors did in the past. Remember lazy Sunday afternoons sitting and talking with family? Sharing dinner together and laughing together was so much fun. Take some time during this wonderful season to fellowship with those you love and new friends that you meet. Share the love of Christ with others like the members of the first church did in Acts 2:46
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Remember that we always must take time to give ourselves to Him each day both in prayer and in His Word. That will equip us for whatever comes our way each day. We are getting closer to His birthday and I don’t know about you, but I plan to give Him my best for His special day! Praying with you sweet ladies and would love to share your ideas as well as mine. You probably have so many more creative ideas than I do.
Until next time, Love and prayers, Margie
